I think the Mass production model will retain the sequentials, new versions will have brighter amber and revisions to the plastic. According to Meso, the timeframe is November.

The Limited editions he is making will not have sequentials, instead will be switchback turn/reverse.

Here is a little sneak peak of the limited editions I am doing.(Only 100 sets) These are custom modified by me, and have no affiliation with Morimoto. Essentially, I am taking the horseshoe amber turn up top and relocating it down to the reverse bucket. (similar to what I do on my Total Tails). You will see why below, the intensity and output are unmatched. This is just one of the tweaks on the Limited editions. The standard mass production LED tail lights are still current and are being produced as well.

First the custom PCB boards I made in collab with Yunique LED.

MESO left (white and amber), OEM Right (just white)

    The business end
    [IMG]

    WHY DO THIS??

    2 main reasons.
1)Separate brake from turn. Now the brake light won't shut off when signal is activated since they are isolated.
2)Brightness. Reflector bowl will always perform the best for output and light coverage.

I'm confused; So only the 100 limited editions will have the amber turn signals in the reverse buckets and the next shipment will retain the sequential red turn signals up top as @Rainoffire posted below? Also, how does one acquire or get in line for one of these limited editions with the amber turns in the reverse buckets?

Correct. The regular tail lights will not change ascetically/functionally. Turn will be sequential and up in the brake area. These 100sets I wanted to put my own flare on.

@MESO Not sure if this is a stupid question or not. But could you do a total tail light upgrade to put the blinker in the reverse bucket on the ultimate tails ? Like you have done to the stock Tacoma tail lights. That is such an awesome upgrade. Instead of having to buy a whole revised version of the tail lights

On the regular MoriMeso lights, the lights are not user accessable and not swappable. If any of the LEDs go out, replacing the whole unit is the only options.

When will these changes go into effect? Was thinking about getting a set off Morimotos website with the Labor Day Sale but would like a set with the upgraded turn signals. Thanks!

The timeframe looks to be around November for the new revision models. This is according to the convos with Meso.
