I guess I’ll just fire out some posts of previous progress as I get some time to collect all my pictures. (sorry for some trash photo quality half of them will be screenshots of memories on social media)

Heres the original setup done aprox 3 months after purchase.
Already had some 285/70 R17's with wheels from previous tacoma.

Bilstein 5100's stock coils on top notch
    mystery AAL's
    Pro Comp es 9000's
    BPF HD front recovery point.
    Procomp 17x8.5 b/s 4.75
    285/70r17 firestone m/t2’s

Was done as cheap and quick as possible because I knew it wasn't going to be final form.

Ran the truck with the setup for 3 years while slowly upgrading components as needed.

Turns out i lost all my pictures of slider/ skid building process other than some snapchat memories.

Built all 3 skids based off pelfrey pictures with my own bits of beef added in. 3/16 steel nothing special.

rock sliders i already had an idea of what i wanted.
designed my own bolt on plates with 3/16 that i had a fab shop bend to get around the frame more. Also used every hole i could get bolts through on the frame.
Had my buddy with a bender bend me a 45* and a 90* on each end of a 12ft length of 1-3/4 .120 DOM tube.
Took them home and built the rest myself.

built both skids and sliders for about $500 or less IIRC

    Front bumper build.
Pelfrey inspired with my own twist.
The whole bumper is based off a 1/4" plate i had bent 90* for mounting to the truck and winch plate.
The rest of the bumper is 3/16 plate and 1-3/4" .120 wall DOM

Had my buddy bend me the tubes for the sides and hoop, went home and made it all fit.
took maybe a month start to finish spending most my time deciding where to put the holes.

    Cost aprox $300 all in

final weight with winch installed is 120 LBS aprox IIRC

Shortly after the bumper was built I swapped the stock coils on the top clip for some 885's

At some point after the 885 coils install the 295/70r17's went on.

Shortly after I installed the ARB twin compressor and air locker then instantly went wheeling the next week.

The compressor mount was my own version of the slee kit, re purposing the stock power steering fluid mount and jimmy rigged my own reservoir mount.

Installed the air locker myself. Wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. Don't have any desire to attempt a re-gear in the future.

Wheeling we got our first good body damage to really make the truck mine.
