When they start shooting sparks out the side toward the back, it's time to swap :D

These get used often; wife bought me the green one and I got the black one from someone for fixing something.

Will be nice to have another at home that's not plugged in.

Got a DeWalt corded as well as a Milwaukee Fuel at work.

I thought that to, went from a corded HFT cheapo(started smoking/melting) to a corded Ryobi semi cheapo(still own), then I caught a awesome Depot deal for a 6-1/2 M18 fuel grinder, now Im noticing(and fixing) all those little things that I can grind down/cut that werent worth dragging a cord 50+ feet. Super worth the money.

:rofl:It started knocking more and more when I would turn it on then it started getting slower and louder :D

It’s been a good one, been used a lot and is probably 5 years old, maybe more.

I'm sure you recall some pages back my many angle grinders in my possession.

I returned both another M18 Fuel and Milwaukee corded angle grinders; the DeWalt always ran quieter and smoother :anonymous:

Commercial electrician here, have both m18 & m12 tools. Just depends on tool needed and task. Been checking out this thread for a bit and believe this is a bad idea but now….. watching thread :annoyed:

Question about the Home Depot "hack". I am going to return the add on battery and keep the tool kit. Will it mess up the deal somehow if I pickup/return the add on battery before I pick up the tool? HD has the battery in stock but its gonna be a week before the tool gets to the store.
