    Anyone have info on the best way to add an additional lock to the camper shell. Mine has 2 T-Handles with flanges that hold the door closed but it's so easy to pry it open and bend those flanges. I've had multiple break ins. Is there a good way to attach a padlock to from the camper lid to the tailgate?

    With actual break ins, I would just not bother locking the back. They'll just smash your windows, anyhow.

    Sadly this is probably a better answer if you're having multiple break-ins- the glass on shells is way overpriced. That said, if I were going to add another lock, I'd do what guys used to do with the old style shells and use a locking bar. Just an example I found doing a quick image search (scroll down);

    It used to be fairly common on older trucks to see a hasp and padlock installed on the shell and tailgate but I wouldn't want to drill my tailgate.
