    Hey TW!

Hoping I could get some opinions on this issue. Only noticed what was going on after installing a battery monitor.

My 2008 TRD Sport has a Duralast Platinum 24F AGM Battery that is a little over two years old now. No issues starting whatsoever, but after installing the battery monitor I became aware that my voltage will drop from 12.65~ to 12.18-12.27 Volts over the course of 8-12 hours.

I've done multiple battery load tests with my own cheap tester, as well as testing at Autozone- all times have confirmed a good battery and charging system.

In attempting a parasitic drain test for the first time (hopefully correctly), I would see the amps fluctuate between .0420 and .0690 ADC. This was after first letting the vehicle sit for 30 mins. with the doors and hood latched. Is this possibly the system still "going to sleep" or an actual parasitic draw?

Currently it's not a big problem since the truck starts right up- but the numbers really had me curious.

There is an aftermarket radio, and backup camera wired to only turn on with ignition. As well as a Scanguage II and wiring harness direct from battery to headlights.

    Thanks!

0.080A or under is good with accessories. 0.040A is ideal.

Do you have a tender or way to charge the battery? AGM's like to be topped off, and they like voltage.

It's normal for batteries to lose some OCV when turning off.

Ah okay, I was reading a lot of info back and fourth about what's considered "normal". Most of it hovered around the .050A zone.

No sir I do not have one, but think it's a good idea. Is there one you would recommend?
I was looking into the HKB voltage booster whenever it is they get back in stock.

Thank you for letting me know, I'm not very familiar with anything electrical. Don't let the Fluke meters fool anyone lol.
