    Hello TW,

I've been driving my 2019 OR for about 4 years now and I would like to make some upgrades. I want to up my tire size to 285/70/R17 and upgrade my suspension. My mind is pretty made up right now with the following suspension upgrades, but I was hoping TW could take a look at the choices I have made and give me your input if I should change my mind with any other options. I currently do not do a lot of off-roading besides a gravel road here and there, but I would like to do more in the future. I also use this truck to commute to work and drive roughly 40 miles/ day 3x a week...not sure if that info is important in regards to suspension selection.

The suspension upgrade combo I'm currently set on are as follows:

    Bilstein 6112s in Front
    Bilstein 5160s in Rear
    Camburg X-joint UCAs
    Deaver Stage 1 leaf pack
    BFGoodrich A/T KO2s 285/70/R17

    Questions:

    1. With this suspension/ tire combo, will I need to CMC or will fender liner trimming be enough to avoid rubbing.

    2. Do I need to do the Suspension, UCAs, and Leaf spring pack all at once? Or Can the new leaf springs be added on later? Will this affect my day to day driving?

    3. Are there any other options besides Bilstein/ Camburg/ or Deaver that I should look at as an alternative.

Thank you all for your help.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
I recommend you do all suspension at once so you can have a set and proper alignment. If you do front or rear separately then you’re going to have small issues.when it comes to tires just remember that extra weight equals a toll on mpg. To include reported change in gear shift points in the 3rg gen. I’m in a 2nd gen. And if I am correct 285/70R17 will definitely will require bmc and trimming of stuff to include rear brake lines extension. Again, based on what I have read here. Cheers!

Looks like it will be a solid setup and comfortable and capable enough for what you're wanting out of the truck. I'd agree you should do it all at once for alignment purposes as well. Should take a weekend if you do it yourself and take your time. I would recommend also swapping over to some upgraded shackles while the leaf springs are out as they help a lot with smoothing out the spring articulation of the leaf pack and stiffen it up in a good way. I went with the BAMF's as they're greasable, but AG also has some inserts if you'd rather save a little dough. I don't personally care for those tires, but I will leave my thoughts @ the door on that one as tires are super subjective.

Do you have wheels picked out? You'll be happiest with something in the 0 to -10 offset range to clear the internal suspension components without excessively rubbing on the cab (after aligning in the 3.5-4.0 degree caster range).

Yes, I went with the Relations Race Wheels RR7-H which has a -12 offset.
