Since a 235/85-r16 is only a tenth of an inch or so larger in diameter than a 265/75-r16, and it's my understanding that a 265/75-r16 will fit the spare location, a 235/85-r16 should fit with NO modifications right? Just want to make sure before I spent $$ on a fifth LT tire. Thanks.

Hello....anyone? I have until tmr @ 11:00cst for special pricing. Would like to buy 5 of this size, not 4 and have an undersized (265/70-r16) spare if possible.

    Most likely. People fit 33’s.

No, but no worries. A rubber mallet and about 2 min of hitting, you can bend those alignment brackets enough (about 3/4’ on each one)…I did a little less for 255/75-17 which is a real 32”. When you crank the spare up, sit on your butt and use your foot to align it in

    Happy Friday
