I have a 2020 Tacoma Pro and notice it slightly drifts to the right if I let go of the steering wheel. When driving straight I have to keep slight left pressure on the steering wheel to get it to travel straight. Is this normal for a Tacoma? Only 16k miles and never driven rough or off road.

Most roads are graded at an angle that will pull your vehicle gradually to the right. Their graded this was to have water drain. If it’a a gradual pull I wouldn’t worry about it.

however if it’s pulling hard, a alignment may be needed. Most competent alignment shops can see if you have anything damaged while performing the alignment. Have your tires been rotated every 5k miles?

    Oh look, another mod....
    Rotate your tires.
    Check your alignment.
Check your tires/rims for any damage or defects.

    This is not normal.

Three of the tires have 16k miles on them. The right front tire is new. This is the side it is pulling to. Could a new tire have this effect?

a 16k mile tread difference is pretty significant. Swap the front tires with each other and see if it pulls to the left.

edit. Found this on the interwebz.
"If one faulty tire is replaced it should be noted that the difference in tread depth on one axle must not exceed 30 %. Handling inconsistencies may result." Fronts not axle but I’d imagine it’s the same concept. I’m no expert though.

Have someone follow behind you and see if it looks like your truck is tracking straight and not "crabbing". If so, maybe video tape it from behind. Who knows?
