Alright yall, im going the opposite direction of most and going the street truck route. Ive already lowered it 3in all round but im trying to get rid of the body roll i have. Anyone know of any companies that make stiffer leaf springs and what shocks should i do? Im thinking of bilstein up front but can't decide on the rear. What have you or some of your friends done that went the street truck route?

For shocks, from what I’ve read, many are happy with qa1. Strictly street sell’s Vikings triple adjustable, but I’m reluctant to drop $2k when I’m reading others experience, some happy, some not.

I stayed with the stock sway bar, added hotchkis bushings and brackets, extremely nice, stupidly expensive. Also moog end links, big mistake, should have gone with mevotech.

You drive an Xrunner though. I've been under the impression our parts aren't compatible at all. Whats the problem over the moog end links?

Notice the same part number on the boxes, left one made correctly, right not.

When I took the old ones off, I chucked them out from under, messed up the threads so it wouldn’t go back on. Otherwise I would have returned them.

Xrunners are 5 lug, most other Tacoma’s are 6. Brakes are different. Beyond that I don’t know what else is different.

For the bushings I just measured the sway bar od & ordered them from summit. There’s others that are good and not nearly as expensive.

The end links was more of a necessity. Going over bumps I was getting a clank clank. Did the fronts only, then it was thump clank. When the rears finally arrived no more clank.

    Here’s the worst of them.
