I bought an '11 honeycomb grille pulled it apart and used it with my existing grille surround. Looking to sell the leftovers:
    • MGM grille surround
    • 05-10 grille insert
    • includes upper rubber seal (which is not shown in pics)

    Condition:
    • Both grille and surround have some scuffs and scrapes. They are used, they are not mint condition. They are NOT beat, trashed or abused.
    • The two pieces are currently separated. After re-assembling my grille I didn't want to take the time to put them back together.
    • The insert has a little warping from one area where I accidentally heated it too much. You may be able to bend it back into shape a little better. It's noticeable but not 'that' noticeable once installed. Depends how picky you are.
    • Great for your truck if your grille is damaged or for a custom grille project.

    Price: SOLD
    Location: Lakewood, CA 90712
    Shipping: No

Shipping something this big is usually prohibitively expensive. Using some rough dimensions and weights off the top of my head I'm seeing a shipping cost of $80. If that price doesn't scare you off then just let me know and I'll take more precise measurements/weights and get a more precise quote.

I thought it would be closer to $40 to ship. I used 40 x 20 x 12 in box at 20lbs. and it was $36.78 on UPS Ground.

Interesting, that's the first time I've seen UPS be cheaper than USPS in a long, long time. If that ballpark works for you let me know and I'll recalculate with some better measurements. The other problem is I do not have a box so I'll need to find one or make one.

Do you still have the grill, if so how far are you from Hawthorne? I going to help a friend pick up a ice machine this Saturday in Hawthorne.

Put Lakewood into google maps and you'll have a more precise estimate. Drive time is gonna be heavily dependent on traffic. That said, Hawthorne is very close, probably a 20-30min drive.

Hm, I may be interested! Been looking to replace my chrome grill since I am not too big of a fan of the chrome and this is MGM so it works out.

Is it difficult to put the two pieces back together?

Definitely a little tricky, but I'd never done it before. You have to heat up the tabs to separate the two pieces and then the tabs get deformed and are tough to stick back into the slots. If you trim the tabs or heat them again to straight them and reshape them it makes re-assembly a little easier.

Hmm, may be worthwhile for a DIY project on my end. Sending you a PM!
