    Hello,
My Google-fu is weak, but I did find the following thread for a '97 Tacoma for DIY evaporator cleaning.

I recently had 20k maintenance at the dealership and evaporator coil cleaning was recommended. I recall the quote was $180 which is not too expensive, but I think I can do this myself.

For 3rd gen, can the above also be followed?

does your a/c stink? it's only really necessary to clean it if it has a musty smell. i had to do mine at 10k but i park under a tree (had a ton of leaves rotting away inside the system) and it's insanely humid where i am.
