TRD Pro Headlights on a Black truck

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about upgrading my headlights, and looking for some visual help from the members here. I'm wondering if anyone can post pictures of their black 2nd Gen (2012-2015) with the smoked TRD OEM headlights.

I've been looking around and I like the looks of some of the aftermarket lights, but everything I read about quality and light output are terrible. I'm slowly blacking everything out, so I was wondering what the TRD headlights looked like on a truck, it's hard to tell from just a thumbnail online. Don't know if there is enough difference to make it worth it. Show me what you got!

Minor modifications to make it fit grille surround, but pretty easy install

 

Think I paid $140 for my knock offs on Amazon 9 months ago. If you get knock offs, make sure you run a bead of black silicone around the housing to make them water proof. Haven't had any problems at all so far.

 

I bought the OEM Pro tail lights and as much as I like them I wish they were darker. From the sides or at any angle they look good but straight on the look pretty similar to the oem chrome. However they do take away the bright chrome that you are looking to get rid of. I didn't have the Kahunas to put my headlights in the oven for the BHLM so that is the direction I went. Do I regret them, No.

 

The TRD Pro headlights do look good, but wish they were a bit darker inside the housings

 

I really gotta squint to notice the difference. I was considering some pro headlights too but chose morimotos instead. They have a promo right now with FREE ditchlights/fog lights (worth 600$) and a 5% off coupon.

 

Any pictures of the Morimotos? How does quality seem? I've read about leaking and fogging with some aftermarket headlights. Thanks!

I got morimoto lights and the super bright fog lights for 900$ out the door.

LOVING the look of the headlights and the function of bright white DLRs and night lights.
