Milwaukee Tools

My real issue with the whole trimmers is that they are short and have a narrow swath. My toro weed eater is much better but I have to constantly fuss with the line, the Ryobi ones I have work well with the line.

Perhaps I’ll just get a different head for my toro and plug along.

 

The m12 rover is a good choice. The magnet works well and the light pivots. I like it for wheel wells etc. It also has a USB port to charge phones etc. Not sure it makes sense for the free tool considering the cost on its own.

 

If it says anything, I've got 4 angle grinders and a plasma cutter and the mini cut off tool still has proven its worth

I used it for pipe some 2-3 years ago when I first bought it, and haven't used it at all until recently again for my Land Cruiser rear bumper and hood strut.

 

Yeah, the rover is too cheap hence *almost*

The rocket light is a better value, just need to find a way to implement it

God now I sound like someone I know; buying something and creating a need for it versus buying what I actually need

 

I have a black & decker that works ok. Lol. Going to use it until it dies

Yea that light also seems like a good choice, I have the m18 hexagon river flood light and the m12 river flood light. Both are great products.

 

Haha. Funny. Yea the light is just better for my trade, just better task lighting when working on a single project like a electrical panel or large pull cans. Using it for camping is just a “Extra”

 

Not bad deals. M12 fan was just regular price.

Sometimes you just gotta buy it without thinking. Can always return it if you change your mind.

 

Happened to me last year, burned out my 18v hammer drill, passed up the deal and ended up having to buy one anyways.

still have everything I bought in the boxes, we’ll see if I decide to keep it all haha

 

Then other times you just end up with a bunch of Milwaukee tools that you can’t return because you got too good of a deal on them. Bastards!

Yeah I’m still salivating about the $179 for the trimmer with the charger and the ho6.0ah battery.

I don’t need any of them but it would be nice to have.

People actually use the SAE socket set?

I've had mine, never used, for about +3 years now





Not a single socket has even been removed.

Been thinking of selling it as I have SAE sockets in another toolbox.

 

I do everyday , although it ranges from 1 1/8 - 2 5/8 . But I do use smaller sometimes

 

I bought 1/2” SAE and Metric deep and shallow impact sets from NAPA many decades ago you’d be surprised how many sockets are still unused. However the ones that are used are used all the time. It’s kind of funny I don’t have chrome plated socket sets anymore other than 1/4” because all my 3/8” and up are impact rated I’m sure it hurt when I bought them but I’ll never part with them until I die. I also bought the NAPA ones because they had a super thin wall compared to any other impact rated sockets I used prior.

 

I know it was cheaper a few days ago but gosh darn it this is an outstanding deal for a tool I would probably use 6 times in the next 10 years... or maybe I will find it totally outstanding and find new reasons to use it. I guess I am going to spend $400 on red tools today. Poor me.
