Hey guys I have been working on a 05 Honda CR-V. Previous issue and suddenly I'm now having a new issue. Hopefully someone out here can help me. I had issues with my throttle body, after cleaning and reinstalling and rested the idle. Everything worked beautifully for a while. Then the MAF sensor went out. Replaced it with an OEM. Everything again worked great for about a week. Then the intake tube had a huge hole. No idea where it came from but didn't realize it until maybe a week of driving it when I hit the highway. Anyway i waited a few weeks for a new OEM tube to get in. Replaced it. Turned on the car. And the weirdest thing happened. First the engine stalled so i turned it off and restarted it. Then i tried to turn on the AC and it stalled again. Do i turned it off and disconnected the battery. Reconnected it after 15 minutes. All the power had been drained. Turned it on again and reved it. To about 2000 rpm. Ran ok on normal operating temperature. Then rev it to 3000 and soon as it hits about a minute at 3000 i could smell something burning and then the engine kicked a lot, i think it's clearly misfires. Anyway. It keeps happening at 3000. Does anyone have any advice?

Hole in the intake? Like a crack or like a rodent chewed through? If it’s the latter they could be the cause of a lot of issues.

Light is on, haven't ran the codes. Will be taking it to the shop tomorrow. Friend thinks it's the spark plugs. Hopefully.
