So I went and got a 52” straight light bar and was going to put it on the roof. Then I realized all the brackets are for curved bars. Anyone know how I can mount a straight 52” LED bar?

Installed the Rigd Ultraswing on the 2020 Tacoma in preparation with going to 33 inch tires. Also finished up the upgrade to the Icon RXT in Option 3, was previously in Option 2 but after a few trips when loaded down we decided to bump it up to Option 3. Very happy.

Yup, two awnings. That way we can put them both out and glide down cliffs. Also we use one or the other depending on how we set up as needed.

Man, what a great job. 99 percent of videos like this are annoying to watch, too much bs from the dude making the video. This is perfect. You have the formula down. I like the camper. I have a ton of questions. Its looking great so far. Subscribed.

    Oh look, another mod....
Incorrect. The emblem IS the sensor. It sits right behind it.

Haha, yeah I really don't have an onscreen personality lol. I just like building my own stuff and the editing / video side was originally a dare from my teenage sons, but its been kind of fun too. Let me know if your have questions in the YT comments and I'll answer them. I'm no master builder, but I try think stuff out. Thanks for watching.

Were you able to install it without taking the skid plate off? I have one ready to go, but decided against it once the oil had drained. Didn't look like enough room to get an arm or wrench close enough to tighten it, and didn't feel like taking off the skid plate.

You can either use a crows foot (the right way), or what I did (fuck em) was fish a wrench through the hole and reach my arm around the side of the skid to tighten, just enough room

I have RCI full skids and was not able to do the install without removing the front skid. Not that you couldn't, did not even try. Front skid was not hard to remove, just time consuming on you back.

It is a powder coated aluminum tailgate panel made by MobTown Offroad (who unfortunately closed up shop.)
It completely replaces the plastic face and top panel on the tailgate giving it more strength, I've had mine installed for 2 years now.

Here is a link to my post in this thread when I installed it.
