Title^ essentially swapped my filter to the uni filter, but now my SAI is telling me bank 2 is stuck so I need the foam to return it back to stock for my extended warranty to take care of. I found some diagrams but it seems that it doesn't have a part number so my only option from what I can see is to try and copy the filter and hope they don't notice :fingerscrossed:

    Thanks!

Secondary Air Injector filter, the curved rectangular foam filter that sits inside. It's the high pitched whistle you hear on cold starts, but one of my banks are jammed shut for some odd reason although it's common on 2012 models from what I gathered!

I know what you’re saying. Unfortunately I don’t know what foam but I do still have mine it’s probably smashed in my glove box

It's the same shit they use in fish tank filters. I think they are called biochemical filter foam (or sponge)

Replied, I think you might just be able to order some cheap foam on Amazon or eBay as a second option

Not that part, but rather the foam inside the housing behind it

I’d call Toyota and double check but cool. I found the info here on Tacoma world. People where talking about using the “foam” or filter for a lawn mower rather then a fish tank also.
