First post here, wanting some feedback on chrome vs black beads for my wheels. I have a set of each, but indecisive on which set looks better aestetically.

    Thanks for the feedback!20220822_140822.jpg

I recently saw they offer brass, or a color similar, however not really wanting to spend the dough on another set lol

I feel like a gunmetal color would look kinda cool

Well I think any color other than black will bring some contrast to the whole set up .

The more I look at the zinc color, the more I like it.

I think it gives it more contrast and also gives it more of a real bead lock look. I'd only run the black ones on a ring that was a different color. Just my .02 which is worth exactly that lol.

I'm finding out I like pretty much every other color over chrome. Some brass/dark bronze ones would look nice, anyone know if those are out there?

@Big Pig - What about using both zinc and black in an alternating pattern on each wheel.

Not to hijack this thread...but I have KMC Holeshots...do you know if I could buy a different colored set and put them on?

I have the zinc color now, but after seeing OP's pic, I wanna do black...

Not a hijacking at all, completely relevant, and we are happy to help:)

I just confirmed with KMC that they do not offer any additional bolt color options for their wheels however they confirmed the bolts are M8x8mm long with an m8 washer. I checked with Method however they were not able to confirm the thread details on their bolts.

A few solutions, maybe one of these other members can take one of their bolts and provide a thread size and pitch to compare.

Or you could order a single bolt kit to see if they work and then order the other 3 if they do.

Last solution, KMC does offer the standard bolt color which you could grab a full set and have them anodized or powder coated.

Decided to go with the black bolts for now, plan on switching wheels at some point so these will do for now

They aren’t Method but I decided to go with the gold bolts for the RRW’s. I like the contrast. I’m sure black looks great too!
