First time posting here after lurking through threads for a while.

    Truck: 1999 SR5 V6 3.4
    Milage: 242,875
    Transmission: Manual 5 Speed
Suspension: OME Shocks, rear airbags and Factory coilpacks
    Timing Belt Due: 263,000

I have been trying to figure out a slight shake in the engine when running. It started when my coil packs failed. When that happened one sparkplug had been welded to the coil pack. I replaced them all with a generic Napa coilpack, ignition coils, and all new NGK spark plugs (all that was available where I broke down at the time, had to limp it to the parking lot).when my alternator started going out on a roadtrip, my battery indicator light would come on, radio would shutoff/headlights would blowout. (Replaced with remanned alternator).

Prior to this incident I usually would get 14.5 MPG with a cabover camper on the truck, with a topper 19-22 MPG. Since this issue I dropped to 12 MPG with the camper and 15-17 MPG with the topper.

Trying to get my gas milage back up I have been chasing the shake and lowered fuel economy. Since then I have replaced the fuel filter(OEM), air filter, cleaned the MAF sensor, replaced valve gasket cover (OEM), resealed half-moons, and replaced camshaft plugs (OEM). I was hoping that the throttle body cleaning would have helped as well but it didn't.

I am aiming to do compression tests on the cylinders and see where that leaves me (wishing I had known/done the measurement of the camshafts spacing prior to doing the valve gasket replacement).

Any other rabbit holes to dive down? I have tried taking a video of the engine slightly shaking but it does not come through in the video.

When you are under the truck you can see the drivetrain slightly wobbling from the engine idling.

Neighbor who is a mechanic told me not to worry about it with the milage that it has.

    Compression test came back "normal"

    Cylinder 1: 172
    Cylinder 2: 175
    Cylinder 3: 170
    Cylinder 4: 175
    Cylinder 5: 170
    Cylinder 6: 170

Guess it is on to try replacing the vacuum hoses.

I had mine with approx the same mileage experience something like that last year.
So being the 2nd owner I went all in. Toyota coil packs, wires, plugs, fuel injectors, filter and so far, so good. My guess was it was a combination of all. That many miles on it, it was time to freshen it up.
