Well I’m an idiot and went to put my triangular trim piece back on that cover mirror bolts and we’ll…I lost two of the plastic clips inside the door. Come to find out they are stuck in a pocket in the door that’s not very accessible. I tried retrieving the clips because I’m ocd with no luck. Two questions, where do I get more of these and are the clips lost forever? If they’re lost forever than someone at least tell me they too live with clips within the door so I won’t feel as bad lmao

Just order some myself a couple days ago. Had the windows tinted and got it back with a panel hanging off on the back door. I guess it is a good thing they come in bulk because it sounds like they get lost often.

I lost a few but got them back by removing the speaker. THe thing with those clips is you have to remove them - they will always come off- then reinstall them on the panel then reinstall the panel on the door.

Yeah I learned to put them on the trim and then install the trim. I pulled the speaker but couldn’t get up to the area they were in.

Hmm, they didn't fall to the bottom? They will eventually. Maybe a long pick work them towards the open area where they will fall down. I also bought those clips initially, that the previous member. posted. They worked fine. I dropped a bunch, when I didn't know better. They are also on a sail panel on the rear doors. I've taken the door panels off a few times and they all were in the bottom of the door.

Interesting. Yeah I’ll try to see if they fall down on their own or try to move them over past the pocket so that fall down. Hopefully opening and closing the door will allow them to fall down. Now that I pulled the door today, I see how easy it is to add soundproofing and some new speakers in the door. Might be my next upgrade lol.

Just pick the truck up, flip it over, and shake it vigorously.

I found an empty PBR can in the door of a 1974 Electra 225, it was the first time the panel was ever removed so that was kinda interesting. Sorry OP, that had absolutely nothing to do with your red clip

Lol, reminds me of the time I was up in the mountains fishing about 25 miles from anyone and stumbled across a 6 pack of cold coors light stashed in the snow along a bank. Needless to say I drank them. Good times.
