Looking to build out my 4 banger... im leaning towards deaver springs but cannot make up my mind about the shocks and springs... any help? heard mixed things on the billie's and ironman. trying to not break the bank and stay under 3k for the full suspension setup. going to have 250 lbs. of added weight in the front and aprox. 650-700 from the cab to the tailgate.

Its a tough call for your set up, you cant go wrong either way from Ironman foamcell vs 6112/5160 combo. Are you handy enough to rebuild shocks yourself? bc the ironman are easy to rebuild with them not needing nitrogen.

5160 can be converted into a rebuildable shock, I'm not sure about the 6112's though. So that could be the deciding factor. Even with your added weight, if you go ironman then stick to the 700 pound performance front coil instead of the other 800 pound option.

Ironman will get you better customer service too.
But Not everyone likes the Green.

I would go Ironman though because the fronts can be dialed in better for height with their threaded collars.

Here are my notes on their performance Coil:

    TOY065A - Performance Load
    Free Height: 390 mm
    Spring Rate: 720 lb/in

Note: Yes you can adjust the 3” lift Coils to 2-2.5” of lift. .25” of settling after install. 60mm or 2.36” of droop is the min after install.

I've been very happy with a Dobinsons set up I got from Exit Off Road. I went with the adjustable remote res shocks and having the adjustment has been really great off road especially since I go between no extra weigh weekend wheeling and fully loaded camping trips. I spent a little more than 3 grand total on it all but not more than 3.5K.
