    I painted mine myself and am very happy with the result. I used Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Specialty Coating "rattle can" in black. The can states "flexible finish ideal for dashboards, door panels, seats & carpet" and has been in place for more than a year without any cracking or peeling.

    I may just have to go this route. I'll look into it. Would def be a weekend project but be a lot cheaper. It's just tough doing projects like this with a 4 yr old and nagging wife. =/
