I know the manual has it broken down by miles, etc. The manual says one thing (just to get you out of warranty), but the community (people who care) says another. Does anyone have the no joke recommended interval changes regardless of operating conditions to keep the truck going strong? 5k oil changes? 30k front and rear diff? 30k transfer case? When to change spark plugs (60k?) and AT fluid?? Coolant 100k?

    TIA

Just do everything at every 5k miles and it will go 2M miles!

If you go to the Toyota website, there is a maintenance page that you enter your info into. It will then get you a calendar of the recommended service items based on service date or mileage depending on which is applicable to you. Follow this and you will be fine. Follow what some people on here recommended and you might go broke o_O

Good point. Be careful who you listen to here. What I identified I do will cost me $2,000 in maintenance at the 60,000 mile mark. Many people here spend that within the first 1,000 miles on tires, wheels, suspension, etc. but they scoff at those who choose to maintain their vehicles meticulously.

If you can so some of the maintenance yourself you can do it much more afordable. As long as I'm able I will do all the oil changes filters and anything else I can do myself in the driveway. Sometimes I just don't have time for doing brakes. Things that are better and far safer on a lift I'll pay for a mechanic to do like my transmission maintenance or anything with suspension especially compressing coil springs.
