Are LED bulbs for things like turn signals and brake lights worth the extra $$?

For some reason, I keep burning out the generic incandecent bulbs every 6 months.

What years / model vehicle do you have?

6 months seems pretty quick to be burning out bulbs

I like LEDs simply for the improved performance and instant on factor. Granted, I only buy high quality ones which for me means getting them from VLEDS. Kind of expensive but I’ve never had a single failure and they are great in both color and brightness.

but it sounds like maybe there’s a reason why the incandescents are burning out. They shouldn’t be dying that quickly. Is this happening in all the locations or what?

I have VLED TRITON front and rear amber DRL/turn signals and holy shit are they ever bright. Also have the VLED TRITON reverse lights as well.

(The reverse lights are my old bulbs, not the VLED)

VLEDS like others have said, I have a feeling their bulbs can out last the truck even.

However, your situation is a bit weird, turn signal bulbs wouldn't burn out in 6 months, I suspect there must be some underlying problem
