I need to make up some new brake lines for the rear and I've been putting it off. I found fittings that should work but don't quite match the oem ones

The cost of being cheap is my time and sanity. I should have just paid up for another factory elocker housing instead of swapping in a 4runner one lol

Being cheap is the most expensive mistake I keep making

I'm a dumbass and this whole saga could have been avoided if I just regeared my welded 8.4 instead of going for the e locker swap and running a bunch of secondhand parts

The elocker also does not work lollll

I can't find a way to mount my Burris scope with what's available for rings and rails for my Savage rifle. The rings space the scope too far apart to mount, and I don't want a rail covering the bolt. Looks like someone cut a rail down which could work I guess.. but the rail I did get from a big box store even though lists it fits Savage 110s, I have an ultralite so the screw sizes changed. You may say, "well gee why don't you just buy the rail and get the right screws separately.." tried that, they don't fit in the holes for the rail. Apparently they're some sort of tapered 8-40 screw. I don't want to use a different scope, this one is 3-25 (I think) 50mm I got for a steal on clearance and now it's discontinued. I think they're all 5-25 now. I sent Savage an email, maybe they have an option

When you file the police report, make sure you include a new tailgate lock as yours is most likely damged

The screw holes in the rail are tapered so I'd be worried the screws wouldn't seat very well. They gave me an option of a specific rail.. $140 rail

I'll have to snag the other rail. Wish I could just use rings. It's going to look goofy with the rail

I think your missing the obvious solution.
You need to buy another rifle that this scope will go on and a different scope for this rifle.
