I have a 2013 Taco, manual transmission, off-road pkg, v6, 82k miles. A few weeks ago I noticed that when I release the emergency brake the idle will drop down to the point that the truck nearly stalls. Even if I release it slowly it happens. I did have new tires put on about the time this started happening but I can't think of a connection to that. I disconnected the battery for roughly a half hour and that didn't do anything but clear the clock (not the radio pre-sets, though). I also have a pedal commander installed but that has never given me any trouble.
Annnnd I tried resetting the idle based on a youtube video where you depress the gas pedal slowly three times. Didn't help.

Does anyone have any experience with this?
    Thanks

Does it do it only once the brake light goes out?

I can't really see any correlation, have you cleaned the throttle body? If not I would start there.

E brake lever hitting the pedal commander wires? And why after getting tires? Definitely odd.
