    Oh look, another mod....
That's not too bad. I have all the same options as you (MTM camera, Leather, Sunroof, etc...) and I paid $45k for my 2021. It's a 5ft bed though.

You have about $1300 worth of accessories that I didn't get with the truck, but I bought later on my own: Tonneau, mud flaps, weathertech floor mats and black out kit.

They won’t take the bed cover or the steps off. Could drop the floor Matt’s and mid flaps

Yeah, I would go husky x act contour floor mats, Bakflip or Lomax tonneau and aftermarket sliders if you can. No way I'd pay 45k-48k for these trucks considering what I my 17 cost, but I guess times have changed.

I've been trying to find a Ford Raptor for msrp, but haven't had any luck. 20k markups! I'll probably wait for the 2023's instead.

Times have definitely changed you bought before leather, LEDs, advanced tech packages, etc. Price has gone up since 17 a good deal for a loaded TRD OR add to that the new market norm of MSRP as a deal. The new Canyon AT4X is $65k a new F150 XLT will run you $56k halfway equipped decent. $45k mid size trucks will be the norm my friend. Better hold onto that 17 for awhile or start stashing away more for the next one. OP getting this truck at MSRP even with the port add ons is not a bad deal at all in this market.

Thats a solid deal, most those port options are actually usable, unlike SET with nitrogen tires and toyoguard and all their BS they tack on. The fact you are getting MSRP on a well optioned TRD OR is a deal, though the 2023's are right around the corner too, but nothing new really / different from your 2022. You can always sell the predator steps, tonneau, etc. and recoup some of that after the fact if they wont budge on them.

You're getting the premium and advanced tech packages which are both useful. I got the latter and I actually really like the dynamic nav. Yea it's a lot of money for a Taco but at least they aren't adding on a market adjustment, and they aren't asking you to leave a lot of cash to reserve the allocation. Yea, most of the add-ons are overpriced but not hugely so like the $10k spacer lifts I see dealers here adding on. It's a nicely equipped truck that's already built and you'll get in a reasonable amount of time. And it's MGM :) I'd go for it if you can afford it.

I know this is the future with the prices I see for new trucks but at 63 I just shake my head when people think nothing of dropping $45000 for a mid-size truck. I have more than likely bought my last new car. It's not because I can't afford them but because I can't bring myself to waste that much money on something that is basically a disposable commodity that is going to rust, break down and eventually wear out. I keep wondering where this will end. The answer I get is that it won't as long as people are willing to to pay it.

Yeah, it is a crazy market so I understand where you're coming from. One question, though, aren't used trucks just as, if not, more expensive in this market?

Paid 42k without leather or sunroof for same truck so as long as there's no dealer markup I wouldn't have a problem if it were me.

Not to mention that used trucks are also a disposable commodity that rust, wear out, and break down. I'm 2 years RLMoody's senior at 65 and while I agree that the market for the last 2 years has been unprecedented, I've learned over the years to never say never. I'm hoping to outlive the service life of my truck and still be able to drive when the time comes to make this decision again.

It's only worth it if your looking for those items and want dealer installed, higher priced options vs DIY.
That's a hefty $ amount for moonroof, leather trim and upgraded stereo that frankly still sounds bad.
But hey, everything is overpriced anymore....

Seems like the difference between pricing on new and old trucks is getting less and less. Never bought a new truck but I might now

You say "lots of unnecessary accessories" as if you dont want them. If you dont want the 8k worth of optional equipment, then NO, its not a good deal. If you do, then its fine I guess. Its not spectacular, I mean, its being sold at MSRP.
Different strokes for different folks, but I personally wanted almost no options as I think they are "unnecessary" FOR ME. Not for everyone, just me. FWIW, I ended up with the floor mats and sill protectors, mudguards, and bed lighting kit. But I bought at 500 under MSRP, so they were basically free.
Just saying, those options add up. Make sure you want them, otherwise keep looking.

BTW, nice win the other night. Your Bills look for real this time. Should be a fun year for western NY.
