Max Tire and Rim Size for 2017 Tacoma Pro?

Hi everyone,

I just got my first 2017 Tacoma Pro a couple months back and have really been loving this website as an excellent resource for everything Tacoma. I am wondering if you can help me determine if the wheels and tires that are being recommended by the dealer for my winter set will be ok, or even, if I can go a little bigger with no worries at all.

I am being told that Replika R213 17" Rims with Toyo GSi-6 in a 265/70R17 115H should work without any issues. The operative word "should" makes me a little nervous. I do know that I currently have 16" rims, so the larger setup immediately makes me second guess.

I know that this is a hot and often contentious issue on this site, but any and all feedback is certainly appreciated. I really hope to focus primarily on whether or not I can safely go with the dealer's recommendation.

No issues, maybe minor rubbing on plastic

 

They will fit no issue. They are slightly larger than factory, did you want this?

pro size is 265 65 17.
