    It’s hard to get to both sides of the wires mine was on a Cherokee I think I reconnected mine but still had errors because I tried to remove the master cylinder for more room and screwed that up too.
    I found the wires unplug from the inside and you could pull it out the engine bay and fix them.
    If not it takes a very long time to get a new wiring harness at the time on my Cherokee they only made a wiring harness for new vehicles and the factory had to do a custom job.

    If you get wires in the harness you won’t know how many until you pull the harness not sure about the Tacoma but the Cherokee just unplugged and pulled out the firewall but still hard to get out

    I cut through 6 wires in mine if you have warning lights on you probably cut one or several.
