I'm really on the fence about getting the 3rd Gen TRD coil overs or going 5100 to achieve a more level appearance. I've read a lot of things like 5100s feel the same or 5100s feel better. From what I've read, the 3rd Gen shocks and coils will give a 1 inch lift near level and the 5100s can achieve level on the 1.75 setting.

It'll be a little bit before I get the shocks but I have been flip flopping as they're literally the same price point. I'm having the Harrop rear locker installed on my truck at ECGS next month and while there, the front diff bushing as a precaution if I ever plan to go any higher with lift to prevent vibration. I figured may as well since it'll be there.

Perhaps I should hold off with either and just do the 6112s later on?

    My 2nd Gen.

Either way can't go wrong. Good idear on the bushing too.
5100 s are much improved over stock. Had them on both 2012 and 2016.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
I’m currently sitting on a set of 3rd gen shocks all around, got them 4 shocks for 100$ out of a truck with less than 5k mi. And I’m currently on the look for 5100’s. Due to the extended travel capabilities. The 3 gen suspension put you at a leveled stance.
