do you like going against the grain?
do you want to fit some speakers that aren't 6x9?
do you wish someone would just post all the measurements and depths without being all cagey about "just take your own truck apart"?
do you prefer to make your own adapters instead of best buy screwing it up for you?

well these templates are for you!

driver and passenger side speaker openings are mirror images of each other, simply flip the templates over for the opposite side.

all pertinent information should be on the template, (+/- 1/2" for crash bar vertical location) , just print, check scale, and cut your new adapters to size from your favorite material!

2 of the files are the jpeg versions, the pdf is both templates in 1 document. whichever prints better!

    happy building!

edit: added dash tweeter layout. this is a direct trace of oem tweeters overall shape, anything a 1/4" larger will require cutting to the dashboard plastics under the grilles-- this is the primary constraint. even an extremely deep tweeter like the morel mdt39 will fit depth-wise with minor offsetting from the oem tweeter centerpoint.

Life could be so easy if people would just tell other people what they have learned

peerless 6.5" hds nomex midbasses that seem to work great in anything more solid than a soggy cardboard box, and some aiyima ring radiator tweeters that so far have made their presence known as visitors instead of companions.
