Tapping Headlight Switch for Morimoto Harness

Currently have Morimoto d2 retrofit based system and man, it’s been a PITA!! Been through probably 4 bulb, 4-5 ballast and now on my second wire harness. Also have the Genesis Off-road dual battery kit so there’s a ton of shit in that from driver corner and changing anything there is also a PItA.

When using the 9003 H4 Morimoto Motocontrol Bixenon Harness obviously there is a connection that taps the factory switch. While out there farting around, I noticed there is one of these on the passenger side!! Can this one be used to contrail headlights on and off? If I could mount the harness and controller on passenger front corner, that would be amazing for future changes and such. Even have battery access there!

Iv temporarily hooked the wire harness up while I’m waiting on new ballast to arrive. Il have to pull those batteries and re-wire permanently, but again, amazing if I can move it all to passenger side.
