Would a 3rd gen tacoma sr5 longbed look better with a 4 in lift on 33s or 35s or a 6 inch lift on 35s?

I know one thing...it'll be way more reliable if left close to the stock height.

1-3” lift on a 3rd gen Taco will increase capability and look good. Anymore than that, you’re going full circle to the point it hinders you for the sake of trying to look cool (but realize… you only look cool only to the really small subset of people who like that way overdone “super truck” look). Everyone else assumes they’re compensating.

As long as it looks good to you that’s all it matters.

I would not add any amount of lift or tire size for looks. The MPG tradeoff just isn't worth it. Totally worth it for off road capability, but not looks.

    All the things!
Only because you asked... neither. My vote, minimal lift to run the leaf pack you want and a front lift to support the increase in the rear. Lifts do not equal bigger tires... untill you chop your frame apart to install a drop bracket lift. Which in turn, is a middle finger to ground clearance.

My opinion. The bigger the lift, the less reliable your Toyota becomes.

    Good luck!

Amen brother. I can't tell you how many times I've said to myself - "WTF did that guy do to that poor truck?!" lol

    2" suspension lift + 1" "tire lift" w/ 265 75R16's for the win

I like seeing Hawaiian posts. It's like the galapagos for trucks. Species that would have been wiped out millennia ago on the mainland, but are still holding on in their isolated ecosystem.

That said, you have the best looking Hawaiian truck I have seen. Really well done.
