Greetings to you folks that know what living is.... Very happy I found this Forum; very impressive.

I picked up an access-cab/6ft bed TRD (#7 Taco in this lifetime) and am wanting to rig it for mild off-roading and camping. I live in the PacNW and decided this desert-rat needed to see what I've been missing for the last 15yrs up here.

I would greatly appreciate your experience with the best camper-shell, and any must-haves for the purposes of mild back-country exploring, camping, etc. Skid plates, air-intakes, suspension adds, bed-frame supports (had no idea that was a thing), radios, etc.

I just enjoyed a Youtube on building a sleeping platform in the bed and it is completed. I found Tacoma-World and have been non-stop reading since. Thanks in advance for any wisdom you might pass on, and please include any outdoor drives in the PacNW you know of that I should go see.

    Very greatly appreciated. Tally-Ho

Thanks for the welcomes. Just added a Lear XR100. No QC issues I can find. The local installer had his own way of sealing the gaps at the corners
of the bed. Seems to keep stuff out quite well. I also followed someone's lead here on the LED interior lights.....brilliant! Love them.
    Any input on great adds?
