The Oley Valley is a nice area.
I feel that this looks familiar for some reason. Do you have services from the local Cable Company? If so , I may have been there at some point in time.

 

Good think I noticed this guy before I left for work; I may be wrong, but isn't it illegal to kill them?

 

Yes they are protected.

 

And as far as I know, they munch on those evil lantern flys

Had 1 being lazy yesterday caught a ride on the hood of my truck for 10miles

Oh, you will have SO much fun.......I had to sweep off our front porch a few nights ago and I think there were 40-50 dead lantern flies on it. It's kind of like a shotgun, close spray pattern but not a real long effective range. I shoot most from about 18-24" range I'd guess. Not always a one shot kill though.

The amount of people that are clueless to bus etiquette confuses me. Like, you see the BIG flashing red lights right? Get the F off your phone.

Unless you are on a divided highway then stop. I get waved at by bus drivers thanking me for stopping on a 4-lane road, at least I paid attention on my driving test

I too don't have to worry much about developing behind my house



If it doesn't get sold off it will keep being farmed, or if my other neighbor buys it it won't be developed either and I get to buy some of it.

Speaking of my yard, it has really grown, need to cut it. However I'm back at the Subaru dealer yet again now. Partially my fault, so I can't get mad...

 

I see all these nice green back yards. I see my neighbors house in mine. Lol
But I'm also pretty use to it now.

 

I use the same and it's a blast. Favorite past time for my friends when they come visit. Even more fun treating them like skeet. Agitate a plant with one and get it as they fly away!

it is not illegal to kill them. They’re beneficial at times but it is not illegal to kill them.
