That is a good price, kind of. These are the brand new units introduced this year. You can still buy 2 -2200 units with a parallel kit for under 2k, much more flexibility and more power. I still think they are cool.

I love my SxS. But it's slow and I use it more like a work truck at my cabin.

Last time I was at box canyon almost got hit by some jack holes going way to fast for how many people were around.

Already happened. They closed a bunch down by Sedona. Colorado has closed or straight banned SXS from some cities. California also.
Next on the chopping block is Moab. Already in the works to close Gemini Bridges, Kane Creek and a whole bunch more.
On top of how much more has been closed on the west side of our state because of “excessive erosion” from SXS.
look I think they can be fun and have a purpose. But the easy availability of people being able to finance them easier than a truck. Has made it worse.
Hell. Our experience with a bunch of old farts in them last September. Old entitlement doesn’t help either.

yeah financing is the real problem. folks can get them for only a hundred a month. and then its just a toy, not a DD
A truck / jeep cost more, on a bike or quad the rider is the squishy part, top it off with many of people trailering them and they have zero incentive to not drive like a lunatic.

same.. F that.. it was raining on our descent into Telluride when we did it.. and had to pass Jeeps coming up. Definitely not a lot of room for error.

At least coming down you're on the mountain side, but yeah, definitely need to be paying 110% attention...we started from Telluride.

I was running Box Canyon with some coworkers back in February and this group of SxS bros decided that it was time to make the 1-wide trail a 2-wide trail and snake through the middle of a group instead of waiting for the group to pass.

Ended up with one guy slipping down and having to hold his shit off the side of my 4Runner by both vehicles pushing the other away by hand and inching forward.

It's frustrating having grown up in a post "ruining it for everyone" state like Pennsylvania where the fun police are thick on the ground and anything remotely exciting is closed off and locked down, and now coming out here and watching it in real time. Shooting and wheeling.:annoyed:

I can't lie though the MRZR military looking ones make me feel things in my peepee.
