Hey guys newbie here! Ive looked this up and get mixed answers! And when i talk to local shops...sometimes i get BS being a woman! So on my stock sr tacoma 2.7l (no lift yet) will A/T 265/75r16 tires.. (on oem stock aluminium rims) like BFG ko2 or Falken at3 give me any rubbing issues? Becuase youtube videos says tires measure 31.7 but manufacture specs say 32.8......so i want to hear real world opinions....please

Find a different shop. Took me a few to find one, they're out there.

You may rub on mud flaps hard to say. Every truck is different. Run them you’ll be good.

Shouldn’t rub, but if it does you’ll only need to trim very slightly near the side skirt and remove the front mud flap.

Not sure if this is a fair comparison, but I run 265/75/16 K02's on my TRD OR with zero issues and no lift.

@Discokiller , I have the duratrac on that size. Stock height no lift . No rub even with the front mud flap on and my 2017 is not a pavement princess at all . I have the off road . Maybe wheels have different backspacing compared to sr models.

Short answer, you should be okay, you may need to trim but it's no big deal.

My 2010 Prerunner is stock with 265/70/16's. You may have to go with 70's instead of 75's to make sure you don't rub.

As far as gas mileage....went from 375 to empty...to 350 till empty....so not bad so far ..well see.....

I run 275/75/R16 on stock OR rims, I’m running Wildpeak AT’s. No rubbing ever.

Did a 2-1 levelling lift; no issues after that either.

So far no lift.....but i probably will. Last taco had eibachs 2" front and 1" block rear.....since i believe bilstein 5100 gives you the option of 1.5 i might do that to level truck and leave well enough alone.....my front is 35" and rear 37"

Love my 2" Bilstein 5100 lift, but ya, you could get away with just 1" in front to perfectly level the truck. I put my 265/75/16 Duratracs on before the lift, and there wasn't, nor isn't any rubbing now. Perfect size for my needs.

    Good luck Disco
