I know I've posted about clunks before, but recently my truck has been making a clink/ clunk noise when I put the transmission into reverse from park. It only really happens when the cars been parked overnight and is dead cold. I've had it checked out before and I've always been told everything looks fine, I'm just sitting here wondering if this is something I should ignore or if it's something to worry about. Sorry for always posting about noises, I just wanna keep my truck in A1 condition, especially before winter hits. Thanks

Also if it's helpful, when I shift Into reverse normally, it takes a second for reverse to engage. If I shift into reverse and jam the gas down immediately, the tranny slips. As far as what I've heard it's normal, I just wanna make sure

The clink / clunk- I'd inspect the drive shaft- U joints, carrier bearing, and slip yoke. You'll have to pull the DS to properly inspect the u joints (unless they are REALLY bad).
