yeah, I heard a few other people say that. Someone on the forum called it a "Whistle", but he said it seemed to happen while speeding up.

I would just go to the dealer and have them fix it because my 2022 OR doesn't make that noise at all.

Honestly I can hear it happen at about 40 mph also sometimes. It's just really loud at low speeds. I get looks for the wrong reasons.

It is surprising to hear about this on new 2022 models since they have been released for a full year now.

They are just now changing to 2023 models. I got my 2022 last week and now their Website only shows the 2023.

I guess not much is changing, but I have heard that 2024 will be Hybrid.

I just don't trust the EV yet. I have seen a friend with older EV having to shell out 24k for a new battery.

Sounds like the front dustpan is bent and rubbing

It's at the dealership now. That's what the service rep told me upon listening to the sounds. Said sometimes when they strap the new vehicles down it bends? I'll keep y'all updated.

Front brake backing plate. Jack up one side at a time and spin tire. If you hear it remove wheel and gentle coax back into and out of the way. My guess would be 2 Heineken job.

I've had a high-pitched squealing noise in the front passenger area of my truck since I bought it. The odd part is it only happens when my wife is in the truck. :anonymous:

    Oh look, another mod....

Not gonna lie, when I listened & watched that video, I thought it was the preview to a really cool scary movie. Coming soon to a theatre near me!

Bulalo and AM6217, you guys were right. Said the dust shield was rubbing and they found some debris between the front calipers as well. Gonna pick it up tonight.

Nice resolution. it was a unique, minor, repairable issue and NOT "terrible toyota quality."

If there was debris around the calipers, make sure there was no damage to the rotors.

I asked, they said everything was fine. The truck has 150 miles and I'm wondering if the debris was something that happened with me or from the factory. I haven't done any upgrades or mods yet and only freeway driving was when I took it home. At least it was caught and fixed fast.

Thanks for all the info and replies.
