Hey all, I'm new to the Tacoma family with a 2018 4x4 I got from Enterprise and I'm crazy happy with it.

Stock wise I'm convinced almost everything is perfect, except for mileage. Being kind of physics nerd and just frugal I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with HHO kits.

Before anything gets twisted, I want to understand if while I have my engine running, and the alternator is providing the current needed for my truck, would using the same circuit in an electrolytic cell generate the just kill my battery or would it help give the car an efficiency boost?

It's either an HHO kit or Miniverse battery. Stay Schwifty my friends.

HHO kits work but the have to be setup right. Something that can get missed is the EFIE component that modifies the O2 sensor data going to the computer, without this the system thinks your exhaust is to clean and adds extra fuel which defeats the purpose. Make sure you have an ideal cell and HHO production rate for your engine size and you are driving the cell with a good PWM controller. You can buy everything prebuilt or build some of the components yourself. I like to build the cell, tanks etc. and I purchase the controller and EFIE. Do your research.
