So it looks like my (2001 dbl cab 4x4 off road package) rear drivers side leaf spring is cracked and rusted through. I am looking for an as close to OEM replacement for it. I dont want to lift the truck, I would like to keep the height stock. Should I replace the other leaf spring at the same time as well? Thanks

Definitely replace both at the same time. Can't help you with a brand recommendation.

Other things to consider while you're looking at the springs- You'll for sure need new u bolts (they are a single use item), also check your shackles. Depending on the rust, they may or may not be reusable. Start soaking the hangers, u bolts, and shackle bolts in PB Blaster or a penetrating lubricant of your choice (not wd-40). There is a high likely hood that you'll need to cut the forward hanger bolt- either way get new ones. Also check your bump stops. I think General Springs also sells a bump stop.

    No- they are completely different.

General Springs, it's asked a lot here.

And no, 2nd and 3rd Gen Tacoma's are completely different from 1st Gen frames.
