Good Afternoon. I have a 2021 SR Doublecab 4x4 v6, just put on a set of Nitto Ridgegrappers in a LT285/75r16, and I'm getting a lot of vibration at 50+mph and itdoes shake the whole truck and steering wheel. I have has the wheels balanced twice now since I got them on Friday and still no change, the odd thing is the vibration does go away at 80+. They are E Load tires but I don't have a lot of armor on the truck.... yet.. but still, I shouldn't have any vibrations. I did order the tires from Discount Tire so I did save myself if I want to drop down to some C Load Tires. ANYWAY
Do you guys have any ideas? I do have an appointment for an alignment check on Friday and may have them also do a balance just to see.

    Oh look, another mod....
Let Discount Tire balance them properly for you. It's either that, the weights got thrown off (it happens), the wheel it out of round or....you got a batch of defective tires. Most of the time, it's a balanced issue.

@Borracho Loco I just had them balance it again today and was still the same when I hit the highway. They had even gone to the clip on weights rather than the adhesive

Waited almost 2 hours for them to get it done...

I had a similar problem with my last set of new tires at discount tire. Took 3 trips and they finically ended up replacing two of the tires. Those two tires had excessive road force/runout measured on the road force balancer. After they replaced those two tires….now smooth as glass. Tacomas are very sensitive to excessive road force/runout.

Have them do a road force balance. Those symptoms are textbook out of balance tire(s).

    New tires shouldn't need that.
Centramatic balance should do it but shouldn't need that either.
You have to find which wheel, rotor, etc is the issue.
Get a dummy tire to swap around and isolate to the problem one. Pita I know.
