I swear I have search with no definitive results. This week I am putting on an icon stage 2 lift to my 2021 tacoma. I have ordered 17x8 with +5 offset wheels. Will 285 70 17s clear the stock upper control arms? I figure I will have to do some trimming of the plastic to make it work. Any info would be much appreciated.

I have no idea if the tires will "clear" stock UCA's, but if you're installing that type of suspension system system I wouldn't keep stock UCA's. You'd be doing yourself a disservice. You'll have to take off the mud flaps and trim plastic. If you actually run your truck off road you will probably have to do a CMC as well in order to prevent rubbing at flex.
