we can see who gets the swap done first.. @CygnusX191 or @TacomaDad18

 

This could also be what was needed to push him into turning one into an "amphibious" vehicle.
So could be the diesel powered tug....

They don't have to be. There are some Volkswagen swap options I've seen done on 4th and 5th gen trucks and even first-gen tacos. With proper gearing and a good transmission .... Could be a viable thing down the road.
