On my 2005 4x4 , I have a clunk or pop noise occasionally, truck is stock. Anyone ever notice a clunk or pop sound in front end , especially when wet after a good rain? I’ve had my rack replaced, as well as front struts and even an axle shaft on one side . But every once in awhile I get it .

Are you turning the wheel, and if yes is it a hard turn to max out turning?
And if so again. Look at sway bar and look for shinny spots on the ends. :)
I’m off base a little. Then need more info

Could be a lot of things. Can be that your spring is spinning. Could be your brake caliper a little loose and it moves back and forth.

my “click” was my lower control arm was not torqued down properly

Geeves 77 - I’ll have to look at sway bar . But yes it’s when I’m turning . I also heard about bottom control arms being loose because the bushing wear and needing replaced and or tightened as pahaf mentioned above

This is a very common issue on our trucks. People (myself included) have thrown all sorts of parts at these trucks to track it down. You will see tons of posts if you just search "clunk"

All that said, and after countless hours of research reading pages and pages of input, the most common fix is torquing your LCA cam bolts.

Do a suspension shake down and check front radiator supports. Just replaced this recently for being rusted out.

In my case it was sway bar bushings, may be worth checking.

I have this, it got worse after I took off my sway bar. Its especially bad if I'm backing up with the wheel cut hard. Makes a loud pop/clank! I think its probably just the LCA bushings like everyone says. Haven't really took the time to mess with it though. I'm getting new suspension and alignment soon, gonna make sure they torque them down properly.
