    Hello....theres plenty of Tacoma rear diff mods online....but i have a question? When installing new valve extension....does any one use plumbers tape Or something else.....to seal threads?

    I think I might have used just a bit. But, I believe that teflon is not good for bearings, galleys, and such. So, leave the last thread or two bare? I doubt that there is any real harm in a diff, but . . .
