When the thieves pulled out the catalytic, they also ripped out the wiring harness for the O2 sensor. No splicing into the harness for a patch up job means that the entire engine harness has to be replaced. This is going to be a very expensive "catalytic replacement" job and I'm out of my primary vehicle for an unknown period of time.

I didn't have any sort of catalytic guard before, but I've got one sitting here now waiting to be put on when I get the truck back. I just hope it works as enough of a deterrent in the future. Don't end up like me people, protect your kitties.

Com’on now, be humane. Just cut 2 fingers off each hand. Let the victim choose which 2 fingers on each hand get cut off. That way the person can still live, but is reminded everyday when they struggle doing basic things to not be stupid.

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
They should get the pain. To the pain means the first thing you will lose will be your feet below the ankles. Then your hands at the wrists. Next your nose. The next thing you will lose will be your left eye followed by your right. Your ears you keep and I’ll tell you why. So that every shriek of every child at seeing your hideousness will be yours to cherish. Every babe that weeps at your approach, every woman who cries out, “Dear God! What is that thing,” will echo in your perfect ears. That is what to the pain means. It means I leave you in anguish, wallowing in freakish misery forever.

You should certainly be able to splice another plug into the harness. There should be no need to replace the harness. It is just an electrical connection to the sensor wire. They are available at NAPA.

Sorry OP. I agree with having both hands cut off, except I would use a dull bladed Sawzall.
