When I close my tailgate, my Tail Fuse blows.

I have had the electronic lock on the tailgate installed right after purchasing and a SnugTop on for the last year.

The Tail Fuse issues started about a month ago, and I can’t figure it out. I thought it was my pigtail for my compressor but I’ve eliminated that by having the same issue when the pigtail is not installed.

    Any thoughts?

Short. Is there a switch to tell the
    Tail gate is closed?

Tail fuse? Which one is that, and where is it located? But if its when you close the tailgate, I bet its a pinched wire in the tailgate (between tailgate and frame).

Guessing there's a scotch lock connector on one of those, cap of lock. Which is grounding out.
