Hey guys - Sorry, new to the Pro Grill world. This question is about the TSS cover on the grill. (

I bought the OEM Pro grill and OEM TSS cover (buy once/cry once), curious if the angle of the cover should look like the following? It looks flush with the bottom but angled back at the top when you install the new push nuts? It looked odd to me, but I dont have another truck to compare. Just making sure I didn't miss a step/part or was curious why it sits like that? Maybe it will make sense on the truck.

I have an oem pro grill and an aftermarket garnish and it fits at an angle just like yours.

I got the Taco Vinyl grille and garnish (which came already installed on the grille) and I never thought to look. Mine seems to be sitting at a slight angle also. Go figure :)

    No thank you!

Having an oem pro grill, I wonder if the oem garnish would fit at an angle like the aftermarket garnish. You confirmed this!

This is the closest pic I have at the moment...but I did check.

There is a slight angle but mine isn't as prominent as yours.

It's the grill & garnish from EmpyreOffRoad. The Smoked Amber Raptor lights are also from same source.

The oem has the garnish at a slight angle and it looks like the fake grills don't have it as angled. Wonder if that's the issue with some tss errors on the fake grills.

Oh, it's angled just a tad...but not as prominent as OEM.

I've tested mine with DRCC and LDA at highway speeds and my system works just fine--no errors.

EDIT: I did the install on August 21st.

Mine is a 2018 with the OEM Pro grill and garnish $40 before Toyota went crazy and I have a slight angle too. It's funny that the 16 & 17 grill was like $400 plus but the 2018 and up grills that have rss were like $200 ish. Yes again I have a slight angle and some aftermarket Pro grills people are using the washers to get the angle of the garinh to point down.
