I was bored tonight. I pulled the 77 Honda that was hanging from the garage rafters since 2014 and with a few shots of starting fluid, and some 2 smoke mix, got her fired up.

My grandfathers back in the day. It had been sold at his estate sale in the 80’s. Sometime around 01, my dad did some go cart work for a co worker and he paid him with the bike. When my dad said sure, turned out it was his dads old moped.
I was able to track down the guy who bought it at the estate, he still had the title and was able to get it titled over to me.
It’s not worth anything , but it’s still cool as he died when i was about 4-5 and don’t
remember him at all.

some day maybe I’ll strip it down , get it back to the original color , fix a few of the smaller blemishes.
I did get it inspected in 2014 ( 49cc doesn’t need inspection) but I did it so the sticker was over the 1982 sticker.

I may rebuild it one day and maybe it will have some pep and actually be able to go up a hill without pushing it.

Was on the way home and got behind a black Tacoma. Looked older but nice. Checked it out for a while and even got next to him when we got into two lanes.
Finally had a stop up the road again and honked to him and he put his window down.
Asked him what year, 2015, miles, about 80,000, how it ran all these years, his response, like a dream.
Damn thing looked better then my 2020.
We had a laugh and told him how good it looked.
Taco owners, I do believe we made a good choice. Stock, modified or whatever you did to yours.
Anyway, my two cents for the day
