I purchased Talon Garage catalytic converter shield for my Tacoma. Contacted him regarding fitment issues with the converter shield...going back and forth with pictures & videos. He finally determines that his shield does not fit the 5 lug base model (which is what I have) and said that he was going to send me a return label with full refund.

As of this post (its been over a month and half) and still have not gotten the shipping label. He's has not responded to my DMs in regards to the status of the shipping label.

UPDATE: He done made it right

I am very very sorry! I issued you full refund this morning after seeing a PM pop up in my email. You can keep the plate to sell, trash, scrap as you see fit. When I get a PM, or a Facebook message I am the only one that sees it. My wife doesn’t have access to any of these. Sometimes I will tell her something, or think I told her about something, and totally forget about it.

Feel free to still PM me, but depending on the issue I may have to direct you to use our contact me page: so we can better track the progress with any issue there may be, and we don’t accidentally lose someone in the cracks like on this case.

OP, I would encourage you to change the title to the thread to add something like "Talon Garage-Had A Problem and They Made it Right" or something similar. Mistakes happen but someone owning it and making it right does not always happen. Nice job admitting the error and taking immediate steps to correct it.

IMHO, Op had every right to make this thread. He had PM'd me twice and I had not responded.

I do want to add, for others, sometimes we will miss a email, and we encourage you to send a second if you don't hear from us. This is also a note on our webpage. Also, it is common for our replies to go to your spam box too, but generally that only happens on initial contact. I have answered the same question 2-4 times, and I assume it is because our replies are going to the spam box, and the customers is being left thinking they are being ignored.

I wouldn't change the title. It got me to look and it's refreshing to see such a positive outcome.
